Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location derived from your connection (city level), device and browser type, and interactions such as clicking Reserve or adding an item to the bag. This data is aggregated; we do not use it to identify individuals. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell returning visitors apart.

Our analytics configuration may include Google’s demographics and interests reporting (Google Signals), which draws on data Google holds about users who are signed in to a Google account with ad personalization enabled. You can turn that off for your account at Google’s Ads Settings, or block Google Analytics entirely with Google’s opt-out browser add-on — the site works fine either way.

Booking a stay or an appointment

When you request a stay or book a visit appointment, we collect what the form asks — name, email, phone if you give it, dates, group size, and any notes — and use it to operate your booking and reach you about it, nothing else. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe: your card details go to Stripe, never to us or our servers.

Shop orders

Shop purchases also run through Stripe Checkout; we receive your order details and shipping address in order to fulfill the order. Until you check out, your bag’s contents are stored only in your own browser.

Giving

When you fill in the giving form, we collect what it asks — name, email, phone if you give it, mailing address, and the gift you have in mind — and use it to reach you, complete your gift, and send acknowledgments and tax receipts. Unless you choose to give anonymously, your name may be listed among supporters on our website. Until online giving opens, the form’s details are sent to our team by email and kept in our own records; once it opens, payments run through Stripe.

The email list

When you book a visit appointment or fill in the giving form, we add your name and email to our mailing list, kept with our email delivery provider, and may send you occasional Wolfhouse news. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can always just ask us to remove you.

Cookies and stored data

Beyond the Google Analytics cookies above, the site keeps small pieces of data in your browser’s own storage — shopping-bag contents, your choices on the giving form, and the date selections on the booking and appointment panels — so they survive a refresh. That data stays on your device.

Who we share with

Data is shared only with the services that run the site: Google for analytics and for the spreadsheet where we keep form submissions, Stripe for payments, and the providers that deliver our email and host the site. We do not sell or rent any of it.

Your choices

To see, correct, or delete anything we hold about you — a booking record, a gift, a subscription — email info@wolfhouseny.com.

Changes

If our practices change, this page changes with them; the date above is kept current.
