Open House with Ian McMahon
July 9th, 2026 10am–8pmFollowing its debut during Upstate Art Weekend, Wolfhouse reopens for a special Open House with Newburgh-based artist Ian McMahon. Visitors are invited to experience Ian’s exhibition throughout the house, where sculpture and design works unfold in conversation with the architecture and landscape.
A self-described “Material Collaborator,” Ian’s practice is driven by an ongoing dialogue with plaster, steel, concrete, fabric, sand, and air. His work embraces process, experimentation, and material transformation, resulting in sculptural forms that are both rigorous and unexpected. Ian will be on site throughout the day, offering informal tours and conversations about the exhibition.
Ian McMahon will be present throughout the day for guided walkthroughs and conversation.
